Recent study of Lifestyles Condom Company's indicates that the average length of an erect penis is 14.9 cm approx. This study shows smaller averge length of penis than the studies before and most notably the Kinsey Study (Alfred C. Kinsey Institute for Sex Research) which concluded that the average erect penis length is between 15.7 to 16.2 cm. This measurement is taken from the point where the penis meets the body (at the pubic bone).
Other studies had diverse results. Researchers from around the world have conducted researches and have produced interesting results. It seems that most "gifted" are the French with a penis erect length of 16 cm, men in USA have average erect length of 13.5 cm, while the smallest average erect penis length is in Korea(9.5 cm).

The penises vary in size and shape... some are longer, shorter, wider, thinner. But penis size is strictly determined by human DNA and humans hereditary factors. There is no such thing that penis myths that inflicts our penis size, like height, hand or nose size. There could be a lot of tall people with small penises, or big handed with large penises but it is NOT a rule!

At the end, I've found an excellent observation written in "Medical aspects of human sexuality" by Scott J. Verinis which says that penis size matters to male and female at the beggining of their relationship, but at a certain point quality of sexual performance and interpersonal relationship are a higher priority in their sex life.
